FIVE local cyclists have taken on a charity cycle for ‘It’s in the Bag’ testicular cancer.

James Price from Green Man Stoves in Weston-under-Penyard, near Ross, was joined by four of his friends in a 300-mile cycle titled Le Tour de Balls.

The cycle saw Dave Marfell from Pontshill and Dave East Junior, Kevin Vaughan and Matt Sluman from Parkend ride a return trip to Bristol via the Forest, Cheltenham and Bath.

James said: “We joined up with Sue Brand, Chair of It’s in the Bag a south west-based testicular cancer charity, to cycle Le Tour de Balls.

“It is a unique cycling event involving 24 cyclists riding 300 miles across the south west in three days. So far more than £24,000 has been raised as well as awareness for testicular cancer.”
