THANK you or your coverage of the STAND Meeting in Lydney.

The issue of a new nuclear facility at Oldbury Power is of extraordinary importance to everyone of your readership. It sets the Forest and our region on a path that cannot be reversed and is unnecessarily dangerous and expensive. Dangerous because, if the exclusion and contamination zones of Fukushima were centred on Oldbury, most of your readership would be excluded from their own homes.

And expensive? – one of the reasons that new nuclear power stations are being considered is to raise money to stabilise the last ones.

That sound like a 'casino' energy policy to me.
