FRIENDS of missing Sedbury man Rikki Baldwin have left flowers at the spot on the new Wye Bridge where he was last seen.
The 24-year-old fell from the bridge on his way home from Chepstow in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.
An extensive search of the River Wye and the riverbank failed to find him and the search for him was called off last week.
Among the tributes was one from "Hobbsy" saying: "We'll miss your 200mph way of life."
A Facebook page called Help Find Missing Rikki Baldwin has been set up.
Among the messages posted was one on Monday which read: "I only went down the village (Caldicot) to the post office and so many people stopped me to ask if there was any news – (there) is so much support out there and so many lovely people.
"I just had to put this on here to let you know Rikki how popular you are."
Anyone with information about Mr Baldwin is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 29 of April 9.
In last week's Chepstow Review we reported that the search for Mr Baldwin was the second incident attended by the Severn Area Rescue Association.
We have been asked by Mr Baldwin's family to clarify that he was in no way involved with the other incident in which a replica gun was found at the foot of the old Wye bridge in Chepstow.
