BEFORE Christmas my partner Cllr Alan Preest, in the process of representing people on his ward concerning wind turbine issues, had cause to report Cllr Derek Biddle to the council for misrepresenting him and communicating false information to third parties by email.
On February 14, 2011, a Council Standards Sub-Committee found in favour of Alan and passed their decision to the Council Monitoring Officer for further action.
Over five weeks later, no outcome. One can only wonder, given past history, what would happen if the boot had been on the other foot (Alan
doesn't care less).
