THE Review is pleased to announce their fabulous competition to win a pair of tickets for Atlantis Aqua Park at the National Diving and Activity Centre at Tidenham, Chepstow.

The National Diving and Activity Centre, between Chepstow and Lydney, is renowned for its adrenalin-pumping attractions – but things are getting a whole lot wetter.

The Atlantis Aqua Park takes its place alongside well-established attractions such as The Wire Zip Slide, the Giant 3G Swing, drive-in cinema, fly-boards, stand-up paddle boarding, free-diving, kayaking, bungee jumping and Segway experiences and, of course, scuba diving.

The Atlantis Aqua Park is breath-taking in terms of its size and its potential for fun.

The park has five floating zones to choose, and each one ups the intensity on the last so it’s perfect for challenging the rest of your family or your mates.

Bounce, hop, jump and dive your way around the Atlantis Aqua Park for a unique experience.

A spokesman for the NDAC said: “Just a reminder you will get wet – very wet.”

To celebrate the arrival of the Atlantis Aqua Park, there are some great deals on offer.

There is 20 per cent off at weekends – but hurry because this offer is limited but it does mean you can experience the Atlantis Aqua Park from as little as £24 per person.

During the week there is a massive 50 per cent admission to Atlantis Aqua Park as well as The Wire Zip Slide, the Giant 3G Swing and Scuba Diving – although make a note that the centre is closed on Wednesdays.

The special offer runs from Monday, July 29 until Friday, August – just use the discount code summer fun when booking online at www.ndac.co.uk

Be aware that Atlantis Aqua Park is not suitable for children younger than eight and The Wire and 3G swing have an lower age limit of 12.

The entry includes wetsuit hire, buoyancy aid, kitting up, equipment fitting, a safety briefing and 30 minutes in the park.

The Wire is one of the UK’s longest, tallest and fastest zip slides in the country.

Launch yourself from the 70m cliff edge and whizz over the 700m length of the quarry at speeds of up to 40mph.

The 3G swing allows you to experience weightlessness 245 feet in the air in the NDAC’s ultimate adrenaline rush.

You’ll be strapped into the swing, hoisted 50ft up into the air and slowly pulled to the release point at which point somebody has to pull the ripcord.

After the initial drop, you launch into the air feeling the g-force as you swing 245ft over the steep quarry edges into the sky.

The NDAC’s flooded quarry includes some of the best inland scuba opportunities in Europe with a range of depths to suit all abilities.

Underwater you’ll find planes, armoured vehicles, sunken boats and helicopters.

There are classrooms for instructor and club use, a well-stocked dive shop, equipment hire and servicing and a state-of-the-art gas room.

If you want to learn this fascinating skill there is training on site. Scuba Training is provided by our dive training supplier ScubaQuest. Based at the National Diving and Activity Centre, ScubaQuest is run by highly experienced instructors and divemasters who focus on the safety and quality of your dive training, to provide the best student experience possible.

ScubaQuest can offer courses, support and advice for an extensive range of recreational and technical diving from a range of agencies including Scuba Diving International (SDI), Technical Diving International (TDI) and PADI.

And if you want to relax after all that exhilaration, head to the NDAC’s on-site licensed cafe, The View.

The NDAC is conveniently located on the A48, five minutes outside Chepstow and there is plenty of free parking.
