I AM beginning to wonder if consideration for others has gone out of fashion.
I take my grandchildren to Drybrook School daily and 90 per cent of our walk to school is trying to avoid the dog mess trailing along the pavement. We have to walk on the edge of the pavement to avoid it, which in turn is dangerous with cars, lorries and other vehicles driving through the village. You have children taking the mess into school on their shoes, mothers with pushchairs trying not to get the mess on the wheels.
These people know who they are, I appeal to their better nature to do something about it, please. I love dogs, I have dogs myself, when they are taken out for walks the appropriate items for clearing any accidents are taken along.
Please consider the little children who have to make this journey daily. – Ann John, Drybrook.
