Firstly may I send my thanks to the staff of Biffa who do an excellent job in keeping our streets and car parks clean and tidy.

Unfortunately the public car park in Drybrook is being used as a dumping ground for people's rubbish.

Someone kindly left a tent to be disposed of, also a pile of cardboard boxes, a lawnmower box, washing powder boxes, juice cartons, etc.

In the past we have had plasterboard and building materials dumped at the back of the recycling bins, a bed, computers, dustbins, food and bikes.

Biffa arrive early at least once a week to empty the recycling bins, unfortunately if the bins are full people dump their recycling in front of the bins rather than take it back home, this includes clothes which are often left out in the rain and are then of no use to anyone.

As a resident who lives near the car park and have to look at this eyesore, could I ask people if the bins are full please try again later in the week;   this is a recycling area, not a dumping ground for your rubbish.
