ADAM Pearce of Coleford hit the headlines more than a year ago when he started marketing crossword puzzles to newspapers and magazines.
But now the Year 9 pupil at Lakers is entering the big-time world of publishing, producing a series of school magazines.
One of his latest ventures, titled Hype, featured film and record reviews and had sections reporting on new toys and gadgets and PC games.
He also published the unofficial Friends magazine which is being sold to fellow pupils.
Now he is going to launch a new school magazine called Talk, which will feature school news as well as the reviews.
On sale at 50p an issue, all the profits from his publications go to Lepra, a charity which helps people with the devastating disease leprosy and funds research into its causes and treatment.
"I type up the magazines at home and I have designed the entire template myself," said Adam, 14, who hopes to train as a journalist when he leaves school.
"I do all the movies, gadget and movie reviews and my friend writes the games reviews and I type them up.
"Hype was photocopied by Xerox but now my school will print Talk in black and white because as yet there is nobody to sponsor us."
Adam is hoping to produce regular new issues of the magazine after its launch next month.
