On Monday, December 8 while cycling in the  Forest I  fell and injured my ankle.  While one friend stayed with me and helped me get to an accessible track, my other two friends went for help.    They flagged down a car and the  driver and passenger willingly came to pick me up taking me to  the Dilke Hospital where  an X-ray revealed a break at the base of my fibula.    In the hope that they may read this letter, I want to say a very big thank you to these two lovely ladies whose names I  unfortunately don't know.    Also to  let them know  their kindness that day in helping me to  get  quickly  out of the cold and into a place of safety will  undoubtedly have a positive impact on my recovery.

My friends were marvellous too, as was the prompt and expert care at the Dilke.  Thanks again and best wishes to you all.
