THE parents of Hannah Rosher, 18, who died in a crash at Redbrook on Saturday, have paid tribute on behalf of the family to their 'shining star' daughter.
Steve and Sally Rosher said: "Hannah exuded all that is good in life. She was a bright and shining star who was a magnet to all around her.
"Anyone who was privileged enough to have her touch their life in some way will know how badly missed she will be. She was a bubbly, feisty, vivacious and beautiful girl who only ever saw the good in people.
"Anyone who knew her loved her. There are no words to describe the pain felt not only by her mum and dad and two brothers whose lives will never be the same, but also by her extended family and many many special friends. We are all proud and blessed to have had her in our lives, albeit only for a short time."
The couple also asked for everyone to respect their privacy at what was a difficult and trying time.
Hannah, from Bristol, died following a collision on the A466 between Redbrook and Llandogo on Saturday (January 5).
She was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa that left the road near Bigsweir Bridge at about 8.15am and collided with a tree.
The coroner has been informed.
The road was closed for most of the day while police investigated the cause of the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles.
Police say they would like to hear from anyone who saw the accident or knows anything about it. They should call 101, quoting incident 85 of January 5.
