WE were recently lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful evening at the Great Oaks Fashion Show at Viney Hill.

 

The evening was organised by The Wardrobe in Newnham (one of the hospice shops) and a profit of £1250 was raised.

Great Oaks Dean Forest Hospice is an amazing organisation which exists thanks to the generosity of the people of the Forest of Dean.  

The five Great Oaks Hospice charity shops raise an astounding 50 per cent of the annual running costs and are staffed solely by volunteers.  

The numerous volunteers at both the shops and hospice itself are unpaid.  All items at the shops are donated by generous members of the public.

Many thanks are due to the organisers, the models and all those who attended.

The Great Oaks Hospice and its supporters are truly an asset to the Forest of Dean.
