DATES have been announced for the Devauden Festival, which will take place in the grounds of the village’s Hood Memorial Hall on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 May.

A spokesperson for the event said: “ The festival is now in its eighth year and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.  

“All bands will be performing in the amazing Big Top tent, as seen at Glastonbury, ensuring the show will go on come rain or shine.

“With a new improved Kids Zone, licensed bar, a variety of food stalls, arts and craft stands and wall to wall great music there is something for everyone at this family friendly event in a great village location with outstanding views.  Camping is also available at a nearby location.”
