A CLUTCH of the Forest's top bands will come together to perform at this weekend's Cinderford Music Festival.
Among the bands performing over the two day event (May 14/15) will be Anti Podes; Medik (headlining on Saturday); The Herbs; Noise Agents; Carly Di Crescienzo; Cross Joint and Shadow Light Sounds.
Other highlights will be the wonderfully named Rio Grande Valley Killer Beans, The Words, a signed band from Manchester, and 'Live and Unsigned' finalists, Pandemik.
Organiser, Baz Woodley, says the festival at Cinderford Town Football Club kicks off at 12 noon each day, with the main stage closing at 11pm and the acoustic stage at midnight.
There will, says Baz, be plenty on hand for the kids during the day, with a bouncy castle and volunteers from Steam Mills and Mitcheldean Juniors helping out.
But if you're thinking of bringing booze, forget it. Although drink will be served at the bar, nobody will be allowed to take drink in to the festival. Any being brought in will be confiscated by security at the gates.
