TWO local fishermen are chasing a possible £15,000 jackpot - one of the biggest prizes in angling history - in next month's final of the Embassy Challenge.
More than 4,000 anglers entered the eight qualifying rounds fished last year and the Lydney pair worked hard to win a place in the 40 pairs final.
They will now enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Denmark from June 3 until June 10. They will have two days to practice and then compete in the two day final.
Paul fishes for Celtic Baits while Mark competes for the Lydney Match Group. In the qualifying round Mark finished fifth in the individual event with 16lbs of carp and bream.
