A CALDICOT resident is demanding action to prevent a repetition of flooding incidents that have threatened his home several times this winter.

The Neddern Brook has broken its banks leaving Castle Lodge Crescent and large areas of Caldicot Country Park under water.

The floods at the country park have seen water deep enough for canoeists to paddle along from near the Mitel roundabout entrance to Caldicot.
