I was very interested to read Mr Hyson's letter on the friendly wild boar sow and her offspring in the Review. He is quite right to urge people not to feed any friendly wild boars, as they will become targets for hunters, legal or illegal.

If anyone is interested in giving the wild boar a better future, I would urge them to look at our new blogspot – friendsofthe boar.blogspot.com ­ – and see what the issues are facing these animals in the Forest.
