ELLWOOD Primary School held a super fun Mini Olympics forming ten teams representing the countries participating in the summer Olympics.

The whole school was divided into 10 teams each representing a different country. Sports leaders from Lakers School organised 10 multi-skills events which all the teams participated in, despite the weather!

Staff, children, parents all helped to create a fantastic atmosphere and the event was a great success.

The school has already enjoyed a visit from Robyn Tyler who showed the Olympic torch which she was chosen to carry in Monmouth.
