ON Saturday and Sunday October 8 and 9 the Dean Heritage Centre at Soudley will be hosting their annual Fungi Weekend.

Fungi experts from the Dean Fungus Group will be on site over the weekend and will lead members of the public into the tantalising world of mushrooms.

The forest forays will take place each day at 2pm and last for around two hours.

The Dean Fungus group will also be hosting a special exhibition on the fascinating world of fungi, included in the centre's admission fee. Tickets for the forays are extra – to book or for further information telephone 01594 822170.
