CINDERFORD, desperately unlucky to slip up at Coventry, will be anxious to make amends at home to Fylde on Saturday (kick off 3pm).

The Lancashire team were given a tough National League 1 test by newly promoted Jersey, sneaking home 29-27.

And no doubt they will be expecting another tough challenge after news that Cinderford had run highly fancied Coventry close, going down 21-15 at the Butts Park.

It was a match many observers said Cinderford deserved to win and adds spice to the anticipated visit of the Lancashire side this weekend.

Cinderford returned home with a losing bonus point, their only reward for an excellent performance being five penalty goals kicked by Rory Teague.
