Parkside's annual garden fete successfully raised £1,033 for residents.

Money from the fete, opened by local businessman Andrew Childs and his wife, Diane, goes towards coach trips and holidays for the residents of Parkside – a community of 60 bungalows and flats.

Alongside cake and gardening stalls, games and a grand draw, there was also a line dancing demonstration by Parkside residents and friends.
