FOREST cidermakers, Severn Cider, has come away from two shows with a clutch of awards.
Severn Cider, based in Awre, won a first at the Three Counties Show for its sparkling dry cider and a second for it medium sweet. The combined awards mean it was the best entry from the whole of Gloucestershire.
Earlier, Severn Cider also won a first at the Bulmers International Cider Competition in Hereford.
Speaking for Severn Cider, Tom Bull said they've now won awards for every one of the ciders they produce.
And father, Nick Bull, said they're planning a major expansion in the coming months, with a larger press on the way and new 2,000 litre oak vats from a whisky distillery in Scotland.
