THE popular 'Location, Location, Location' TV programme is to broadcast a third feature on a local couple in their quest to achieve 'The Good Life' for themselves and their young family in rural Herefordshire.

In 2004 when Alison and Phil Clarke decided to relocate from Bolton to Herefordshire to be nearer to family, their choice of property was influenced by the assistance of Kirsty Allsop and Phil Spencer from the Channel Four programme.

Phil said: "We chose one of Kirsty and Phil's recommended properties in Upton Bishop, made an offer, picked up the keys and started work on the refurbishment and extension of an old farm cottage, based on the plans that Kirsty and Phil had had prepared for us."

The initial programme attracted over five million viewers, so when the couple had completed work on the property, Kirsty and Phil were keen to return make a follow-up programme to show viewers how the property had been extended and improved.

With daughter Amelia on the way, Alison and Phil Clarke recently made their latest move to Brampton Abbots.

"We now collect eggs from our own chickens and grow our own vegetables," said Alison. "The Old House is a classic rambling Georgian property, ideal for a family to grown into, however, it's also in need of a great deal of renovation, as we found to our costs as soon as we moved in!"

The programme is being broadcast this Thursday.
