A RECENT correspondent said that green levies were putting £150 on everyone's energy bill each year.  This is just simply not true – the real cost is about £3 a month.Yes, £36 a year is yet more money to earn and find. 

But Green energy subsidies are helping get energy power plants built. They are not a 'tax', they are an investment. 

An investment for a future, where clean, renewable energy will be worth every penny that we invest today and will be critical in keeping energy affordable.
