To whom it may concern. Why say you want to regenerate Cinderford and then go about it by desecrating one of its best parts?
The college already exists, at Five Acres, there is no need for it to be moved to Cinderford and anyway Five Acres is no great distance. For those who have no car, the same bus which passes through Cinderford also goes via Five Acres.
If the present site of the college were to become vacant it would only be snapped up by developers for housing when the Forest is already too full and cannot cope with any further ruination (development).
I know those in authority will dread the very thought of this but because good communications are important to businesses, the regeneration of Cinderford cannot commence until all the appropriate buildings have been demolished, and the main road, the A4151, which at present is not much better than a country lane, is made substantially wider.
Just don't build it to the detriment of the wild life in the Northern Quarter. In other words, get your dirty fingers off the Northern Quarter and start thinking about regenerating Cinderford.
