Hannah, who has been cooking for more than 15 years, will be working with the Bristol-based retailer to help create recipes and cooking tips for its website.

The company's managing director, Mark Callaghan, said: "We're thrilled to announce Hannah as the winner of our competition.

"We were very impressed with her application and it was immediately clear that she will work well with us. Hannah enjoys cooking good British food, using many of the store cupboard staples you can find on our website.

"We were looking for a new and exciting chef or home cook, who may not have had classical training, but who represents the very best of British, Hannah completely fits the criteria."

Hannah, who was inspired to cook by her grandmother, tries to use seasonal ingredients for her recipes.

She said: "I am so excited to have been announced as the winner of the competition. Cooking British food is my passion and it has been an eternal ambition to explore the area of food writing, so I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity."
