FOREST residents have until September 1 to give their views on their future waste and recycling services by completing an online survey.

To date 1,628 completed surveys have been received back from households, but with 37,000 homes across the district the council is encouraging more residents to have their say.

Councillor Marrilyn Smart, Cabinet Member for the Environment at the Forest of Dean District Council, said: “We’ve had a good response to our survey so far and thank those residents that have taken the time to take part in the consultation.

“The views of our residents are extremely important and will help to shape the future waste and recycling services and we encourage those who haven’t had chance to complete the survey to do it online by visiting www.fdean.gov.uk/go/
