THE latest in a series of community litter picks organised by Foresters’ Forest and Forestry England takes place this weekend.

The target for the litter pick on Saturday (February 1) is local woodland between Milkwall and Sling.

Meet at the Scarr Bandstand at 10am for the two-hour blitz.

On Sunday, March 8 meet near the café at Cannop Cycle Centre, New Road, Cannop, at 10am.

The event is organised by Dean Trail Volunteers

There will be a litter pick on Saturday, March 28 between 10am and noon at a location to be decided.

Everyone is welcome to take part in these family friendly community litter picks.

Volunteers must wear sturdy footwear, gloves and dress for the weather.

The organisers will provide litter pickers (adult and child sized) and bags.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
