I HAVE just read the letter from the person complaining about the people of St Briavels not being very friendly.
My husband and I moved to Cinderford last December (a week before the snow) from Oxfordshire. From the beginning we have met nothing but friendly people. Our new neighbours were very helpful in recommending doctors, dentist etc. We are both very friendly people so when we go out for a walk with our two little dogs we say hello to other dog walkers and always get a smile and then a chat about their dogs. Then we get lots of information about the best place in the forest to take our dogs for a good walk.
So thank-you to all the people in the Forest of Dean who have made us very welcome. We are looking forward to a long retirement walking in your beautiful forest.
