FAMOUS high-wire walker Amaspipos will attempt to cross the River Wye – without a safety net – on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7.

The first ever event will be attempted from the Millennium Green to the railway bridge, without a safety net, followed by daring aerial acrobats suspended from the bridge.

The event will start at noon with 'Silurian Swing' from local favourite Jim Blanche and his band. Award winning hand made burgers and sausages will also be available as well as lager, beer and wine.

There's free admission with a bucket collection and all proceeds will go to the Redbrook Village Trust.

In support of the occasion Redbrook Village Stores will be holding a produce tasting event.
