MONEY raised from a golf day almost a year ago has been presented to Hope for Tomorrow.
Lew Howard, of Berry Hill, and a member of Forest Hills Golf Club, held the event last August and raised £2,400 for the Gloucestershire-based charity.
Hope for Tomorrow support cancer sufferers by providing mobile chemotherapy units in rural areas including the Dilke hospital near Cinderford, saving patients a journey to Cheltenham.
Director of Forest Hills Golf Club in Coleford, Alison Breton said: “Lew has chosen to support Hope for Tomorrow on a number of occasions because of their strong county connection, and they help people in the Forest of Dean by bringing their mobile unit to the Dilke.”
