MITCHELDEAN man Bilhan Tuncel appeared in court in Bristol on Friday (June 3) charged with attempted murder and was remanded in custody.

It is alleged Tuncel and another man made a serious honour-related attack on the boyfriend of Tuncel's neice in Kingswood, Bristol on Monday May 30.

The victim remains in hospital after recently being aroused from an induced coma because of swelling to the brain, and is said to have 'life-changing injuries'.
