DUE to mass immigration over the last few years it has been far easier for a foreigner to get a passport than some of us who have lived here all our lives.
We are informed that due to criminal activity it has now become impossible to open a new bank account without some form of photo ID – doctors, friends and family cannot vouch for you.
You must have a current photo driving licence and/or a current photo passport.
So what happens if you do not drive or go abroad? You cannot prove who you are (no joke).
You would even need the above when claiming your pension just to prove it was really you.
No one I have spoken to seems to know how to overcome this "I am who I am" obstacle.
I have spoken to solicitors and even they do not have an answer. Would my local MP like to comment?
