FOR all the troubles within the NHS, I would just like everyone to know that I have had the most wonderful care from Judy Berry and her team of district and community nurses at Yorkley Health Centre. This comment also applies to those nurses who came in daily throughout the holidays and at weekends.

I had major surgery in the middle of December and a couple of days later found the wound gushing with gunge... not a clinical word I appreciate! Judy came in to take a look and assured me that I would not have to return to hospital as the district nurses could manage the wound. That is exactly what they did and I am just so grateful.

Each and every day one of the nurses that changed my dressings were kind, intelligent, caring and sensible women. No one could have paid privately for better care than I received. Thank you to such a great service.
