Addis is on the ball. He passes to Addis, who passes to Addis, who passes to Addis...

It's no printing error. This is Ellwood Football Club at home to Tuffley Rovers on Saturday. We can't be certain who scored but it was, of course, probably Addis!

But for a change of clubs only a week ago, the Addis boys, Chris (28), Julian (26), Jamie (23) and Matt (20) would have been playing alongside brother Daryl.

However he has switched allegiance to Midlands Alliance club, Westfields.

Chris is both the manager and a player at Ellwood.

"I know it's very unusual to have four brothers in a team but it has not been that difficult. Four of us have played for Cinderford before," says Chris.

"I am very careful to do what's best for myself and the club and they know that. During a game I tell them exactly what I think, but it's all forgotten afterwards," he says.

Addis senior, dad Barry, is a former Clearwell Star footballer who was also well known as a cricketer. "As kids we were always playing football," says Chris.

(By the way, Jamie Addis and Matt Addis scored Ellwood's goals against Tuffley!)
