It’s competition time in the Review!
This week the Review has joined up with the Dean Forest Railway in Lydney for a fabulous competition to win a pair of tickets and a meal for two on one of their evening scenic suppers.
On offer to the lucky winner is a choice of two evening dates, with either a ’diesel’ fish and chip supper on Saturday August 25, or a ’steam’ curry and pie special on Saturday September 8 as the prize.
The Dean Forest Railway runs through beautiful woodland and countryside offering visitors a chance to experience the relaxing pace of a typical country branch line. Although the line has been around since the 1860’s the Dean Forest Railway Preservation Society was formed in the 1970’s to save the line from permanent closure and preserve it for future generations.
