A LYDNEY woman is celebrating after losing more than four stones in weight.

Jessica King, 28, got serious about slimming down from 14st 4.5lbs after she began to experience pressure headaches and was put on daily medication for high blood pressure.

By August she would only wear pyjamas or big, baggy clothes and would avoid social events.

The 28-year-old said: “I started to feel so ashamed of how I let myself go and the way I looked. After work, I would get changed into my comfiest, baggiest clothes or pyjamas as they were the only clothes that fitted me and just hide away.”

Jessica turned to the 1:1 diet by Cambridge Weight Plan with consultant Danielle Saunders.

Jessica said: “I started to see my smile coming back again and a little bit of confidence day by day.”

Having reached her goal weight of 10 stone, Jessica says she now feels fantastic.

She said: “My biggest achievement is that I’ve been taken off my blood pressure medication. It has now regulated at a normal pressure without taking pills.

“I can now push myself further and I exercise on a regular basis weekly.

“The doctors told me I would be on this medication for the rest of my life as it was hereditary, but I proved them wrong.

“I’m so happy to be able to say that I feel amazing in my own skin.

“The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan’ has changed my life for the better – the personal support was outstanding and without this I couldn’t have done it.

“I am now a consultant myself and help support others on their journey.”
