IF you're thinking of dusting off the trainers and the kids trainers, now is the best of times.
The Royal Forest of Dean Rotary Club is just about to finalise arrangements for this years autumn Runs.
Organiser Ian Storrar says: "We have had more people register in advance than we had last year, with still two weeks to go, so it looks as though it will be a great turn out. There will be the usual mix of the serious athletes, the regular fun runners and a good number of people running for the first time.
"In the past we have had runners from seven years old to 80 years old. The atmosphere is always very friendly and it is a lovely way for us to raise money for local charities."
Entry will be available from 9.30am on the day, near the start on Speech House Field. The races will start from 10.15am.
