I WONDER if you would print this request from me, a founder member of the Monmouth Band. Our numbers have depleted somewhat lately, and to boost things I would like to call upon retired brass musicians or those who find contesting too pressing but would still like to play.

We do not contest, or ask full commitment, but your help would be most appreciated. We play for concerts, fetes and civic functions, in fact, wherever we are requested to attend.

In the past we have toured three times in France and Germany to festivals, which were enjoyed to all.

Our main rehearsal is at the Family Learning Centre, off the Wonastow Road, Monmouth, on a Thursday at 7.30pm.
