Thank-you to all those people who voted Green in last week's district council elections.

We increased our vote, were runners-up in 80 per cent of the wards we contested, and five votes away from gaining our first seat – five votes!

I cannot tell you how frustrating that is.  For over 30 years now the Green Party has been developing solutions and ideas for many of the problems that we now face.  Even current councillors from other political parties say 'we need you on the Council'!
