I read with interest the article about Henry Mills being heartbroken about the damage caused to his and his daughter's land by wild boar.
I know exactly what it feels like to have your land decimated. We returned home one evening to find sheep had jumped over our very substantial wall and had ruined all the vegetables in our garden.
We complained to the sheep badger about it but were told it was our responsibility to fence against the sheep, not theirs to stop them.
We ended up having to spend a sizeable sum of money to put an additional fence above the wall.
So, Mr. Mills, you now know what it feels like so I suggest you do as we were told to and fence against the wild boar.
