A COLEFORD-BASED company featured last week on BBC’s DIY SOS programme, after building and installing a kitchen for Monmouth couple Charlotte and Rob Fairlie and their twins boys.
Malcolm Paterson founded the company and told the Review: “We were invited to take part by the BBC and we donated the kitchen and our time. Some of the fittings were donated by our suppliers and the worktop was supplied by another company.
“We built a bespoke kitchen specifically to the architect’s design and four of our team, including my son Stuart who is managing director, gave up their time on site for two days and half a night to install it.
“It was a great team working down there. There were people from all over Monmouthshire and the Forest of Dean and beyond. In fact one of the presenters jokingly asked me which part of Wales I was from as I’m originally from Glasgow.
“We were delighted to be part of the programme and provide the kitchen for this lovely family. It was great that so many tradespeople pulled together to make this happen.”
