POLICE are hunting a robber who allegedly put a knife to a teenager’s throat before making off with his mobile phone.

The incident happened near Edge Hills Close in Cinderford around 4.40pm on Monday (November 13) when the teen boy was grabbed from behind and pushed to the floor whilst walking.

A Gloucestershire Police spokeswoman said the offender reportedly put the knife to the victim’s throat before stealing his Samsung mobile phone and running off in the direction of the Fern Ticket pub.

The offender was described as wearing a dark hooded top with grey tracksuit bottoms and red trainers.

He was of strong build and had a black scarf covering the bottom half of his face.

The boy wasn’t injured in the attack.
