If litter was not ever thrown on the floor

It would be very tidy and clean evermore.

But plenty of rubbish gets thrown on the ground.

Then on windy days, litter things get blown round.

When some smokers finish a few cigarettes

They throw them outside, then untidy it gets.

Some people leave things on the floor, like a tin,

But won't take a paper bag to put dogs' muck in.

And if days are cold, wet, foggy or sunny,

It's a shame that some peoplel do not get fined money.

We sometimes see litter things out on the floor,

Such as wheels, bottles, papers, jars, tins and lots more.

There is much litter always in a lot of towns too,

But that makes some people have more work to do.

But each year at one time, there was a bin test

To find out which tidiest place is the best,

So they started putting the litter in bins

Just to make their place be the tidiest that wins.

So if places were once kept tidy just for that reason

They why aren't they kept tidy now through each season?

Because if all places were wonderful too

It would not be one place then having more work to do.

So in every place, if all people do care,

It would be nice and tidy and clean everywhere.
