A FOREST teenager is making a name for herself in the world of modelling.
Jemimah-Nicolle Fowler of Mitcheldean won a crown at a major event in Birmingham and will be taking part in an event for Midlands Fashion Week.
The 16-year-old took part in the Scandanavian Bliss fashion show, a major event organised by her agency Dream Street Models, and won the Miss Scandanavian Inspirational crown in the pageant section.
She said: “I usually do photoshoots but this was my first pageant and I was really pleased to win Miss Scandanavian Inspirational.”
Jemimah-Nicolle got into modelling because of an interest she developed in make-up as she recovered from a serious road accident in 2015.
She said: “I was going along to photoshoots with photographers in the Forest because I was interested in make-up.
“Then the photographers started asking to take my picture and it developed from there and I signed up with Dream Street Models in Birmingham.”
As well as work in the UK, Jemimah-Nicolle has also been published in three magazines in Los Angeles.
She is currently studying English and media make-up at college in Swindon and hopes to become a professional make-up artist and continue her modelling career.
