A LUCKY Forest lottery winner who failed to claim their £86,003 windfall has finally come forward – but is remaining coy about their identity.
Camelot UK, operator of The National Lottery, were appealing to Review readers to check their tickets on November 23 after a ticket bought in the Forest had remained outstanding.
In a statement to the Review, Camelot said: "Unless the winner of a major National Lottery prize opts to take full publicity and signs an agreement to that effect, no further information can be released about their win.
"We're delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win – what an amazing way to start 2014. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-enhancing amount of money. We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play."
