The current trustees of the charity are looking into the possibility of providing children’s play equipment on the recreation ground.
Older residents will remember the play equipment on the bank opposite the church.
The trustees are at an early stage of seeking costed proposals from equipment suppliers.
Before detailed planning permission is even applied for, the trustees are committed to consult widely with the community – particularly the immediate neighbours to the recreation ground – and will only proceed if a proposed scheme receives solid community support.
