A 38-YEAR-OLD man has died in hospital following a single vehicle collision near Drybrook on Saturday (July 2).

Police are still appealing for witnesses after a dark green Ford Fiesta left the road and collided with a tree on the A4136 close to the junction with Oakland Road at approximately 5.50pm.

The driver, from Hartpury, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with life threatening head injuries but passed away yesterday.
