GWENT police have launched an investigation into the death of a 65-year-old man in Monmouth on Wednesday.

At 12.34pm emergency services received a report of an industrial incident at Manson Lane.

The man, who is from the Tredegar area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A joint investigation between Gwent Police and the Health and Safety Executive is on-going to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
