PEOPLE with debt totalling more than half a million pounds turned to the Chepstow Citizens' Advice Bureau for help over the last year.
Debt was the second largest issue for the 2,664 people who contacted the bureau between April 2011 and March this year, according to its annual report.
The total value of the 164 debts that people sought help with was £529,955 across the year but there was considerable fluctuations between months.
