PROCEEDS raised from mumming plays by the Forest of Dean Morris Men have been donated to the League of Friends of the Dilke Hospital.
The Morris Men performed its annual play across several pubs in December and presented a cheque for £507.75 to Friends chairman Bob Young and treasurer Sue Young.
Sue said: “We can’t thank the Forest of Dean Morris Men enough for their support. Each year they nominate a different local charity to fundraise for and this year we were lucky enough to be chosen.
“I believe we will be asked to help purchase a new stationary exercise bike for the physiotherapy department. The bike is very technical and can help those who have little use in their limbs after a stroke for example to rebuild mobility.”
